A late summer micro city wedding in Berlin at Standesamt Henningsdorf.
It’s not all big weddings and seated dinners over at Studio Chloe David, throughout the year I make space for Standesamt weddings in my very own city of Berlin!
Its so lovely to be able to be part of these micro-weddings and its proof that wedding photography doesn’t have to be a long, drawn out affair that takes hours. I come along, capture the important bits, shoot some couple portraits you’ll love and that’s it! Simple!
Don and Michael asked me to join them on for their ceremony and part of the afternoon.
The bride wore an incredible simple, silk vintage dress and Michael finished his three piece look with Gucci loafers for a truly chic bride and groom look.
The couple had originally planned for a bigger wedding but in the end it was a smaller, intimate day that won them over and I love the simplicity of everything they put together.
They travelled together to the Standesamt in Michaels car and live streamed the ceremony for their friends waiting outside as well as family in Vietnam which is where Don is from.
And in true Berlin style they even brought along their dog!
But he did have to wait outside.
After some quick couple portraits we headed off to the wedding breakfast.
