This bride and groom decided to self plan- and if you’re thinking of doing the same head over to La Lista for Helena’s tips and honest feedback.
After a religious ceremony at the Duomo di Montalcino we headed back to the Convento for aperitivi and enough food to feed an army. The couple did a lot of the details themselves, as well as enlisting talented friends to help which made everything feel so much more personal- something that was very important to Helena.
Despite a few hiccups on the day the couple and the day felt like a joyful celebration of this lovely pair.
The couple opted for a religious ceremony at the close by Duomo di Montalcino.
And walked down the aisle together, as husband and wife, to Elton Johns ‘Crocodile Rock’!
Despite the lack of driver, and not being able to find reverse gear- Helena and Blair made it through Montalcino’s tight turns and safely back to the venue!
Where the day continued into night with food, drinks and eventually some very energetic dancing!
After a long dinner, hilarious speeches and much, much wine- the party moved to bar and dance floor to cut their traditional Italian wedding cake and then partied til 3am!
