Gorgeous late summer wedding on the Greek Island of Skiathos.
These cool cats had the most picture perfect intimate Greek Island wedding. For my first introduction to Greece, Skiathos has set the bar very high! They didn’t do the big ‘destination’ wedding thing, they just had 20 of their dearest and got married on a gorgeous early September day.
Mike actually popped the question on the Island, he planned the whole thing; a romantic boat trip for just the two of them. He chose a private beach and popped the question! Therefore Skiathos was the obvious place for them to have their wedding too.
I’m no stranger to a destination wedding and I love exploring new places and I would love to head to some mountains next, so if that’s you- slide into my emails.
It was really important to Rhiannon and Mike that their day was easy and relaxed. Rhiannon asked her two best friends to wear something blue and the bouquets were simple white roses and white gypsophila.
Rhiannon’s own dress was a bespoke piece made by a London dress maker and was totally perfect for the location and the weather. Cropped to just below the knees the covered in delicate floral lace it was understated and unique.
Rhiannon was walked down the aisle by her dad and cheered on by the locals! Look how cute they are!
Honestly, I love how many cheers brides and grooms get off strangers on their wedding day, its one of my highlights.
And the advantage of getting married in such a picturesque spot is that you don’t need any extra decorations, less is more because you can let the amazing view do the hard work.

We headed off for some formal group shots under the shade of some gorgeous trees.
The rest of day involved a lot of champagne, amazing food and lots of dancing!! Rhiannon and Mike chose Ricchi e Poveri for dinner which is a local restaurant a little walk into the island.
And after a lovely dinner, a wild party!
